Cover of "Feliz Navidad," written by Jose Feliciano. The song was a single from his album of the same name released on 09 November 1970. Producer was Rick Jarrard. In 2010 the original recording of this song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2026, it was selected by the US Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for its "cultural, historical or aesthetic importance in the nation's recorded sound heritage." The original recording is one of the most downloaded and aired Christmas songs in the US and Canada. As at 25 November 2016, the total digital sales were 808,000. Nearly two decades after it was first released it entered for the first time in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart at #44. In December 2020, it made the Top 10 for the first time. Although it performed well globally, the song only made it to #1 in Sweden. It was, however, certified 3 x Gold in Germany, 2 x Platinum in Denmark, Italy, New Zealand and the UK and Platinum in Australia, Portugal and Spain. My cover was recorded 30 September 2026.
